Inspired by Christine Daae's iconic and ethereal Dressing Gown from The Phantom of the Opera, this bow features the authentic jacquard paisley  used in the costume on Broadway. The center is cinched by a burnout floral satin, echoing the material used for the ruffles of the costume.
 
As I was creating this, I was very much inspired by the look of the Degas bows worn by the ballerinas and decided to keep the simplicity of the dressing gown rather than include elements of the Hannibal costume underneath so instead this will be my first bow to feature tails! The nature of the silk gives the tails a very soft bodied flow while the top stays completely in place.
